Project: Develop Impact Lab - USAID Funded Grant Activity

Role Overview

As a part-time Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer, you will be integral to the success of a new USAID-funded project. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to establish and maintain a robust M&E system that enhances project outcomes through systematic tracking and evaluation of project activities.

Duties

• Key Responsibilities
• Develop and manage the project’s monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure accurate tracking of progress against key indicators.
• Design and implement tools and strategies for data collection, analysis, and production of reports.
• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure alignment between M&E activities and project goals.
• Prepare high-quality reports on project outcomes and impacts, suitable for sharing with stakeholders and donors.
• Support continuous project improvement by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Key Objectives
• Implement and maintain the project management information system to organize data effectively and provide timely analytical reports for strategic decision-making.
• Conduct data collection and research activities to derive rigorous estimates on project outcomes.
• Collaborate with project teams to design and execute detailed M&E plans.
• Uphold and promote Glean Asia’s standards, enhancing our reputation and expanding our partnerships.

Requirements

• Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in International Development, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably within NGO or international development project contexts.
• Strong command of English and Khmer (written and spoken).
• Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
• Proficiency in technical writing and analytical skills to effectively translate data into actionable insights.
