Job vacancy Technical Drawings Supervisor

Job Duties:
– Train and supervise a junior technical drafting team
– Supervise, develop and prepare manufacturing drawings based on the Designer's 3D rendering concepts, specifications and other data
– Supervise and prepare assembly instructions and layout drawings
– Oversee and prepare material requirements for purchasing using Microsoft Excel
– Work in conjunction with the Senior Project Manager and Production Department with documentation/engineering and product issues in the factory
– Have strong team-oriented skills with the ability to also work independently and meet deadlines

Requirement:
– Certificate, diploma, CEGEP or University in industrial design or drawing program; or equivalent experience
– At least 3-5 Years’ experience in Technical Drawings
– Excellent CAD skills (Inventor/Autodesk Suite)
– Knowledge of carpentry (metal an asset)
– Speaks English (French an asset)

Salary
