Positives first: friendly staff, clean room, comfy bed with mozzy net

Negatives: water from the taps and in the loo was brown (i genuinely thought someone had forgotten to flush when i first saw it!), the roof leaked when it rained, the wifi didnt reach the room at all (couldnt even see the network despite picking up both neighbouring hotels), every time i sat in the bar area (where i could get wifi) they put on very loud, awful music (celine dion, bryan adams etc), the food took ages to come even though there was no one else there (30+ mins for dinner), the place is family run (which is fine) but the little kids were running about screaming until well after i went to bed at 10pm. One toddler was walking round with a pool cue hitting everything in sight - including my chair - but no one seemed bothered or tried to stop it

Intended to stay four nights, left after one

Dirty and disgusting!! Rooms are old, run down and gross. Bathrooms are terrible and look like they have never been cleaned. Extremely loud! They play music very loudly until 2 or 3 am at night, when everywhere else on otres shuts all sound off around 10pm.

Don't support them!

We stayed there for few days in that guesthouse because everywhere in otres beach was full.

The room is not clean and noisy.
The bathroom is scary !!! The water is so dark, the toilet's color is brown, the floor too, there is not toilet paper. We can not put our stuff anywhere because everything is dusty.

But the worst was the attitude of the owner, Mr Lim. We had a problem with the water (very dirty) because we had a motorbike accident. We needed to have clean water. As they didn't get any solution for that, we ask to move room or hotel. They asked us, very angry, to pay money even if we haven't slept. We said no and gave our explanations.

The owner pushed my husband, all the staff (his sons) came to intimidate us and Mr Lim tried to steal our motorbike keys. He was pushing my husband and insulting us in Khmer. I had to shout to alert the neighbourgs because I was really scared !!
We were explaining our point and not a second the owner talked to us quietly.

I do not recommend that place.

Also, there is a lot of power cut in otres beach (everyday from around 7-8h to noon, maybe more). Other hotels have generators, but lim hour doesn't have one. So you pay for fan and wifi and you don't have those services for half a day. In the morning, you can not sleep because its too hot.

There is a lot of comfortable and cheap bungalows on otres beach.
