Job vacancy Customs Clearance Officer (1 Position)

We are now seeking for a qualified person to fill vacant positions below:

Duties

• Perform and implement all custom clearance activities such as following upcoming Shipment, documents transactions and day-to-day related activities in accordance with the objectives, policies and procedures
• Following up with operation department and Clients for reception of the complete set of shipping documents for customs clearance purposes, and ensure its compliance with Cambodia Customs regulations and exemption lists requirements.
• Following up with the transporter(s) to ensure on time & complete delivery of cleared shipments.
• Have complete knowledge to prepare and confirmed all import permits from the Cambodia Ministry dept. and all import custom exemption documents, formats and formalities.
• Negotiate with custom officers to resolve any customs issues related to shipping, shipment delays and fines, and custom clearance process
• Advise clients on import and export procedures, customs regulations, and tariff classifications.
• Monitor changes in customs regulations and tariffs and provide guidance to clients on how to adjust their import and export strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of all customs-related transactions and documentation.
• Provide clients with estimates of duties, taxes, and other fees associated with the import and export of goods.
• Performing other duties related to the job as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to speak and read Chinese will have extra advantage
• Educated to degree level or acceptable equivalent experience, with major focus in a business management and logistics
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in customs clearance
• Understanding of customs regulations and procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
