Job vacancy Business Development and Marketing Officer

Aquarii BD Cambodia is a Singaporean-owned dynamic new start-up focused on connecting businesses, creating investment opportunities and growing their partnerships and outcomes in Cambodia by helping to lower the trust deficit that foreign businesses and investors may have, and to be a bridge between them and the local market environment. We offer business strategy / development advisory services and provide reliable up-to-date information on Cambodian business environment through our online platform and database that is currently under development.

Duties

• Assist in client base, writing business proposals, and managing and retaining relationships with existing clients;
• Conduct research on content and articles in the field of business, economy, investment, law, etc. in English for press releases, newsletters, markets info, etc. to publish on the Aquarii’s website;
• Ensure all contents on Aquarii’s website are up to date including local laws and regulations on doing business in Cambodia;
• Follow industry trends locally and internationally, identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs, researching business opportunities and viable income streams;
• Conduct research to identify new markets and client needs;
• Assist in the organizing and execution of promotional campaigns and events;
• Any other duties and responsibilities in support of Aquarii’s business outcomes, including but not limited to taking on or covering for the duties of other teams;
• Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• At least a fresh graduate student in the field of Business Management, Marketing, Media and Communication, or a relevant field;
• Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask;
• Attention to detail and result-oriented;
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team;
• Good command of English spoken and written skills;
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills;
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficiency in other CRM tools is a plus.
