Job vacancy Senior Network Pre-sales Engineer

Job Description:

– Proactively scope the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assess customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommend technical solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm;
– Secure input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm;
– Adapt solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support;
– Coordinate closely with internal sales department and technical support department to align solution design with customers’ business requirements to ensure a deal’s “technical close”;
– Meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines;
– Provide coaching and professional development to team member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills;
– Achieve assigned productivity and profitability quotas;
– Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests;
– Reporting to the Head of Solution Architecture.

Job Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field
– Previous work experience as a Networking Engineer
– Advanced knowledge of network operating systems including Cisco, Huawei, Fortinet, Palo Alto, JUNOS
– Knowledge of networking hardware including Routers, Switches and Firewalls
– Familiarity with Layer 2 and Layer 3 of OSI Model, STP, Routing Protocol, IPSec VPN, MPLS L2/L3 VPN, VxLAN overlay
– Familiarity with Security concept on firewall such as security policy, NAT policy, IPS/IDS, Next Gen Firewall
– Familiarity with network monitoring tools including SolarWind, Cacti, Zabbix etc.
– Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
– High level problem-solving and communication skills
– Patience and be able to work under pressure.

Salary

- Gasoline fill 1 time per month- Bonus- NSSF- 18 days Annual Leave (AL)
