In December of 2019, Mr Tel Sophat guided a World Challenge Group from Australia to the Veal Veng District of the Pursat Province where he taught us about the community and its culture, as well as assisted us in renovating the local preschool. Mr Tel Sophat acted as both the Project Manager and translator, and was a very helpful and important part of the team, instructing locals on what they should buy with the fundraising money and also donating some of it to a specific family in need who he had learned about during his time in the village. Mr Tel Sophat was very welcoming towards us and his words were very enlightening and touching - the team was very thankful for his presence.
