PRIVATE TOUR - NOT A JOIN-IN TOUR
A one-day private classic tour of Angkor Wat and other important temples and ruins surrounding Siem Reap. The day begins at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, where you’ll begin your exploration of the centerpiece of this ancient city, the Bayon.
ITINERARY
After breakfast, in the cool of the day for you travel in a Romork (Tuk Tuk) to visit the ancient city Angkor Thom which was the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer empire. The tour around Angkor Thom will start from the South Gate then along the ancient city wall to see the lost temple of Prasat Chroung. Next, continue to the Bayon temple where you will be surrounded by 216 gigantic stone faces which are known as the “smile of Angkor”. You will also visit the Terrace of the Elephants, the Royal Palace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Your driver will pick you up and transfer you to the Temple of Ta Prohm which is wildly known as “lost to the jungle temple”.
Break for lunch in a local Khmer restaurant.
After lunch and a short rest, your private guide will escort you to discover the Cambodia’s wonder site—Angkor Wat, the magnificent temple was built in 12th century and it is the largest first Hindu, Buddhist temple complex and the largest religious monument in the world. Finally, you will be driven back to Siem Reap.
